Here are answers to some questions we often get asked. Contact us if you need additional information.

How long does it take to produce benefits guides?
A Premium guide takes 3-4 weeks. A Custom Design guide takes 3-5 weeks. Companion pieces, alternate guide versions or other language guides are based on the approved main guide and take an additional 1-2 weeks.

Does the price include print and mail?
No, but Flimp does offer print and mail services as a pass-through cost via our vetted third parties throughout the country. There is an additional fee based on the specifics of your printing needs.

Are guides available in other languages?
Yes, guides can be created in any language for an additional fee.

Do I own the final, editable source files for my guide?
The templates for our Premium guides are Flimp’s proprietary designs and are not available for purchase. With Custom Design, the source files may be purchased for an additional fee. Please reach out to your account manager for more information.

Who writes the content for a guide?
Flimp does not provide writing assistance in the price of benefits guides. Your guide will be created based on either pre-written best-practice language or the existing language from your previous year’s guide. Custom writing assistance is available for an additional fee.

Are Flimp guides interactive?
Our guides are created as a digital document, enabling certain interactive elements including links and navigation. We can also convert your guide into an interactive flipbook for an additional fee.

Is the price the same in future years?
Guides are priced at a slightly reduced renewal price for years two and beyond.

How many rounds of revisions are included with a guide?
For a Premium guide, we include up to eight rounds of revisions in year one and up to two rounds in years two and beyond. For a Custom Design guide, it’s up to 15 rounds of revisions in year one and up to 10 rounds in year two and beyond.

Can Flimp incorporate my branding?
Yes, we incorporate client-provided branding, including logo, brand colors and most fonts.

Are Flimp guides accessible via mobile devices?
Yes, all Flimp guides are mobile friendly and we also offer other digital alternatives, like microsites and virtual fairs as well as video options that are fully mobile responsive.
